Nothing gives me more pleasure than seeing a client on our last appointment leaving the room smiling, looking and feeling lighter, and confident of their journey forward. Whether I am seeing a client for confidence issues, a phobia or fear, performance or other anxiety – or because they can no longer face living with the emotional and psychological impact of trauma, each client – each session – is immensely satisfying when I see the change that comes about. Whether it is gradual, and the client only realises when they look back and reflect, or a sudden epiphany happens in session, that is my reward.

“Before starting therapy with Alison, I was struggling with anxiety and flashbacks from a past traumatic experience. I felt stuck and wasn’t sure if I could ever move past it.
